Post by Judy MillerI somehow lost the arrow that scrolls on the righthand side of the
inbox which shows most recent emails. Any idea on how to access the
setting for this?
What news client are you using - Outlook Express? Thunderbird? Eudora?
Sorry if these are obvious, but at the moment (and without knowing which
mail software you're using), the only two things I can think of are:
you've moved the inbox too far to the right so that the scrollbar has
gone off the screen, or you happen to have few enough emails showing in
the inbox at the moment that the scrollbar is not necessary - both of
which are so obvious that I'm sure they are not what's happened.
Until we've solved it, most news clients will, if you click in the
heading that says "Received" or "date" or whatever, sort by that (and a
second click will reverse the order). (In fact it usually works with all
the headings, i. e. clicking on a column heading will sort by the
contents of that column.) This should at least allow you to bring the
latest postings to the top/bottom.

This is my first try at a newsgroup.
